What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Coordinator position at Associated Material Handling Industries, Inc?
The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for the quoting and coordinating labor quotes, claims, parts returns, projects, and accounting for all Raymond and Non-Raymond warranty and Pro-Fleet.
Hourly wage range for this position: $22 - $24 per hour
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:
- Quotes and enters Raymond warranty claims into ERP system and/or Raymond system(s).
- Generates parts packing lists.
- Coordinates and maintains detailed records of Raymond projects.
- Quotes Pro-Fleet customer service jobs.
- Tracks warranty invoices; works and assists Accounting Department with the same.
- Inputs truck installations and inspections.
- Research and disputes all denied claims, short pays, and exception filings.
- Recovers freight and missing parts by working with Parts Department for resolution.
- Assists technicians and branch locations with warranty issues and questions.
- Files Non-Raymond claims and produces reporting on the same for Accounting and Aftermarket Representatives.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in order to expedite customer equipment repairs.
- Ability to work well under pressure, and with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to respond quickly to customer phone calls, and dispatch calls in timely manner.
- Ability to follow through, ensuring all work orders are closed and billed with attention to detail.
- Skilled in customer service and ability to handle customer complaints.
- Skilled in use of telephone, two-way radio, and 10-key use simultaneously.
- Knowledge of assigned geographic area via use of maps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Word and basic Windows.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and prioritize work with attention to detail.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED). A minimum of 1-3 years customer service experience with heavy phone contact required. Position requires use of phone, 10-key, computer, and postage machine.
