What You’ll Do : As a Filing Clerk, you will perform essential clerical services to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the office. You’ll assist with customer service, process documents and handle a variety of administrative tasks while working closely with others.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle new filings, create documents and assist with any needs related to customer service.
- Assist with passport production from intake to submission to the passport facility.
- Provide exceptional customer service to county citizens and the general public.
- Answer phone calls, gather information, provide relevant details and transfer calls when necessary.
- Scan, file and maintain documents, both electronically and physically.
- Perform data entry, conduct searches within files and manage client fee collections.
- Work closely with staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all sensitive information is handled appropriately.
- Maintain excellent attendance and be dependable.
