AWG is currently looking for an Accounting Systems Analyst to work in the AWG Support Center Accounting department. This position will be responsible for the configuration and user administration of various accounting systems.This individual will be required to create and/or maintain documentation of procedures and process flows to support the applications. This position will be required to work closely with multiple cross-function teams as projects are assigned. Ability to provide recommendations and assist with the implementation of ideas and innovations to improve existing systems, work processes, and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Manage application configuration, user access, and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft, Concur, Blackline, and other accounting systems. Ensure data integrity and optimize system functionality to meet business needs.
- Partner with cross-functional business teams and IT to troubleshoot, research and analyze problems/concerns to resolve issues.
- Prepare and refine financial reports for management by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance reporting effectiveness, supporting data-driven financial decision-making.
- Understand the end-to-end processing of EDI invoices, including troubleshooting vendor issues, ensuring accurate data transmission, and collaborating with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
- Assist in ad-hoc analyses and special projects as requested by management and business partners.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Identify and architect new process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system administration, procedures, and design.
- Assist in creating, updating, and managing design documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Must have strong communications skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Acute level of customer service skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization effectively.
- The desire to learn new systems.
- Strong MS Access skills are a plus.
- Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
