What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Coordinator position at Associates in Comprehensive Dental Care?
Responsibilities:
- Display a caring attitude and is eager to learn.
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the office
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with dental billing and insurance claims processing
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide excellent patient care
- Be a team player and have fun!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with Dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
