X-ray Division Coordinator:
Associates in Medical Physics LLC is a national medical physics consulting firm that offers a complete array of diagnostic medical physics services. We are currently seeking an experienced radiographer to coordinate all radiologic consulting and accreditation services nationwide. This is an office-based position located at our Cleveland office, requiring approximately 24 to 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Tracking of several thousand pieces of imaging equipment for all clients to ensure proper and timely calibration, testing and accreditation.
- Coordinate with in-house and contracted Physicists upcoming physics testing assignments.
- Review physics reports and related expense reports submitted for completeness; ensure timely distribution of test results to clients.
- Maintain Physicist’s qualification files to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist clients with regulatory questions, navigate regulatory websites and completing of required paperwork such as responses to violations.
- Periodic monitoring of regulations and accrediting organization standards for changes. Communication with regulatory and accrediting agencies for clarifications, etc. Prepare client notifications of changes.
- Prepare, submit, and track status of contract proposals for prospective new clients or addendums for expansion of services with existing clients.
- Ensure in-house physics equipment is inventoried, maintained, and calibrated at the required frequency and/or following repair.
- Assist company President with implementation of price increases, contract formulation and consulting physicist oversight.
Qualifications
Must possess current registration/licensure with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and State of Ohio. Experience as an Individual Responsible for Radiation Protection (IRRP), or equivalent State mandated position preferred.
5 years of professional experience
Knowledge of radiation safety and familiarity with regulations related to X-ray, CT, MRI, and Mammography equipment.
