Job Description:
- This role will be responsible for a variety of software tasks throughout the full lifecycle for designing, coding, documenting, and testing embedded systems
Required Education/Background:
- 4 years of experience
- Minimum of BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience using C and/or C to develop embedded software
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems
- Basic knowledge of circuits, schematics, and hardware components
- Experience working with Communication Protocols such as Ethernet, RS232/422, 1553, SPI, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Desired Skills:
- Experience using software version control tools
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming
- Experience working with other programming languages such as C#, MATLAB, Python, etc.
- Experience in the Defense, Space, Aerospace, or similar industries
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and basic lab equipment
- Experience with Linux and Windows Development Environments
