Software Test Engineer

This is a hands-on Lab work opportunity. 

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with software Testing and verification of (C) embedded software in a regulated industry (medical devices preferred)
• Experience with test automation tools
• Knowledge of an advanced scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and affinity for teamwork, logic, innovation, initiative, and self-sufficiency
• Analytical and troubleshooting  skills
• Familiarity with SDLC tools, including bug tracking, code repository, and requirements tracing

Job Summary:
Develops, documents, executes, and maintains software verification procedures, software testing tools, and associate tracing to support the development of our products in accordance with regulatory requirements.
 
Essential Functions:
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Develops, documents, reviews, and maintains high quality software verification procedures
• Executes verification  procedures- 
• Report own progress toward performance and schedule objectives.
• Participates in all aspects of the software development life cycle including maintaining test protocols and requirement tracing.
• Follows standard operating procedures and software test engineering best practices
• Collaborates with team members and contributes to a positive environment that creates high-quality solution

 
Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

• BS degree or equivalent in Engineering or related science or mathematics discipline
