Position Overview:
AIMH HI is seeking a Program Activities Coordinator to design and manage programs, coordinate community-based initiatives, and cultivate relationships in a hybrid work environment. This position requires one to be self-motivated, take initiative, and have experience in planning high-quality programs and events, a background working with children aged 0-5, and general knowledge of child development and infant mental health. This position requires frequent and effective communication, both in written and verbal forms. While this is primarily a work-from-home role, the Program Activities Coordinator must attend in-person trainings, meetings, workgroups, and conferences. Travel may include visits to other islands. AIMH HI operates remotely on days that do not require in-person presence.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Program Activities Coordinator will build and coordinate AIMH HI programs and community-based initiatives. The Program Activities Coordinator represents AIMH HI’s values in his/her/their interactions at all times. Many of AIMH HI’s programs and work take place virtually; this position requires a technologically savvy person who is highly organized and has the ability to develop and cultivate relationships in a hybrid environment.
The Program Activities Coordinator must attend in-person trainings, meetings, workgroups, and conferences as needed. Travel may include visits off island. AIMH HI operates remotely on days that do not require in-person presence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Level Education in early childhood education, clinical psychology, or relevant, OR equivalent years of experience in the field.
- Experience with working children 0-5.
- Strong ability to work in a hybrid environment, with primary use of Google Suite and Zoom
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the field of Infant and Mental Health.

Compensation:
$55,000-60,000 annual salary. Actual compensation of salary will be based on education and experience.
