ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Cancer Care, with locations across eastern North Carolina, are seeking BE / BC fellowship trained Hematology Oncologists to join their expanding regional oncology provider network. Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general oncology practice. Experienced applicants are preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
ECU Health Cancer Care is eastern North Carolina’s leader in comprehensive oncology care with locations across a 29-county service area. Eastern North Carolina offers an excellent work-life balance with a mild climate, affordable cost of living, and easy access to the coast. Current openings are in Kinston and Greenville, North Carolina.

- ECU Health is a 9-hospital system of cancer that includes 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record system
- Seeking accreditation as Integrated Network Cancer program with 4 of the COC sites located in Greenville, Washington, Tarboro and Ahoskie, NC

- Built in referral network from ECU Health Physicians employed providers
- Shared call
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities will include developing treatment plans for newly diagnosed hematology oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervision of advance practice provider, and participation in tumor board
- Close collaboration with the ECU Health Cancer Care multidisciplinary team of specialists that includes radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators
