We are currently accepting resumes for Director, Diabetes Care and Public Health Initiatives, responsible for directing and managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network in support of Training, Technical Assistance (TA), Guidance Document development, and Resource Management for recipients. The Diabetes MATCH Initiative is a strategic approach to advancing health equity for priority populations with or at risk for diabetes.
The Director will lead the team in identifying, recruiting, and engaging SMEs to create a network of sustainable partnerships aimed at building relevant knowledge and skills that facilitate evidence-based approaches to diabetes prevention, management, and risk reduction in priority populations.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (Health Services Administration, Healthcare, Public Health). Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a proven experienced team leader or manager; preferably in healthcare or public health.
- Must be experienced in conducting program reviews and audits, tracking outcomes, and evaluating program progress reports.
- Previous experience developing policies, procedures and processes required.
- Project management experience highly desirable.
