The Association of Former Students engages and inspires the Aggie Network for Texas A&M University in perpetuating the Aggie Spirit. Through our Annual Fund, as well as other revenue streams, we provide scholarships, endowments, emergency student loans, and awards for faculty excellence. Our Facilities Student Assistant will join our highly motivated Facilities team in advancing our mission through implementation of the facility maintenance plan and providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this position will:
- Support the facility maintenance plan.
- Serve as Parking Lot Attendant for Aggie Football home games.
- Drive Association vehicle for area pick-ups and deliveries.
- Routine tasks include loading vehicles, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Use hand tools.
- Update maintenance logs.
- Keep property clean and litter-free.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS
- Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as may be required.
- Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum
- Currently enrolled at Texas A&M University in College Station.
- Drivers’ License (to drive Association vehicle).
- Proficient with computer data entry or typing.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Preferred
- Previous work requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Previous exposure to “Work Safe” training (or similar).
PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
This position is considered “Medium Work”, requiring consistent lifting of up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Ability to ambulate, sit or stand for long periods on occasion. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. EDUCATION & TRAINING
Required
- Current student at Texas A&M University.
Preferred
- Currently enrolled at Texas A&M with degree focus on construction, facilities or related area of study.
