What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Director position at Association of Fundraising Professionals?
The Washington Crossing Park Association (WCPA) is seeking a part-time, work-from-home Development Director (DD) for our growing organization. Our DD will report to our Executive Director (ED), who reports in turn to our Board of Directors. As an ambassador for the WCPA, the DD will collaborate with the ED and the Board to strengthen relationships with and raise funds from WCPA’s donor base and beyond.
Desired Assets :
- Our DD must genuinely enjoy community engagement and relationship building, and should feel at ease with requesting funding for a wonderful cause.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Should have public and private donor contacts, and a record of creating successful grant applications.
- Must be familiar with membership management software to administer and grow our database.
