AUSA has an exciting opportunity to join and strengthen the Center for Leadership as a Program Manager. This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Center for Leadership. This position requires in-person work at the AUSA HQ in Arlington, Virginia from Tuesday-Thursday (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM). The Center for Leadership team teleworks on Mondays (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM) and Fridays (8 : 00 AM - 1 : 30 PM).
The Program Manager in AUSA's Center for Leadership will work closely with the entire Center for Leadership team (Senior Program Manager, Corporate Leadership Specialist, Assistant Director, and Director); the Vice President, Leadership & Education; and the President & Chief Executive Officer.
The vision of the AUSA Center for Leadership is to deliver relevant and inspirational programs that develop leaders of character and cohesive teams across the Total Army . The purpose of the AUSA Center for Leadership is to educate, inspire, and connect leaders at the brigade level and below through leadership forums that strengthen the Army Profession.
Responsibilities :
International Military Training Program
- Provide comprehensive support to the AUSA Chief Executive Officer in the execution and management of the International Military Training Program.
- Responsible for all facilitator (7-10 Senior Leaders) logistics and communication to include scheduling, plane tickets, hotels, and reimbursement.
AUSA Leadership Education Fellows Program (40-45 Senior Leaders)
Event Planning and Support
Global Force in Huntsville, AL (March 2025) : Oversee registration processes for the Generation Next Forum and maintain clear communication with young professional participants.
Lead planner for the 'Inspiration to Lead' Exercise which merges Army leaders and young professionals through an immersive experience on the National Mall.
