ABOUT THIS ROLE
Associations International is seeking a Membership Account Executive to join the Quest Oracle Community team! As the Membership Account Executive, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Quest membership teams (sales, operations, and communications) to drive customer sales and memberships.
In this role, you will focus on expanding Quest's paid corporate membership base by identifying and approaching potential corporate members and executing strategies to convert prospects into paying members. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a qualified prospect pipeline by researching and qualifying leads, utilizing CRM tools and sales analytics, and implementing effective lead nurturing strategies. The Membership Account Executive will report to the Senior Manager of Vendor Relations. This is a hybrid position requiring one in-office day per week, and the ideal candidate will reside in or around Lexington, Kentucky.***
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a.) Drive New Paid Corporate Member Sales:
- Identify and approach potential corporate members to expand our paid membership base
- Execute strategies to convert prospects into paying members
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for new memberships
b.) Develop Qualified Prospect Pipeline:
- Research and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of potential members
- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track progress and optimize conversion rates
- Implement effective lead nurturing strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel
c.) Manage Funnel to Achieve Paid Member Conversion Goals:
- Implement a structured sales process from lead generation through to membership conversion
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to create targeted campaigns and collateral to support membership sales
d.) Referral Services/Partnerships – Funnel Management:
- Cultivate and manage referral partnerships, particularly through Oracle and Vendor partner teams
- Optimize referral processes to increase membership acquisition and retention
e.) Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts and be responsible for reporting on revenue and strategies for growth
- Report progress on a regular basis
- Represent Quest at meetings and events as assigned
- Perform other duties and assist with periodic special projects
- Provide information for monthly headquarters' reports and quarterly board book reports
- Be able to operate the Quest membership database software
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Degree in marketing, business or communications or related field
- 3 years of sales experience
- Experience in managing referral partnerships and optimizing funnel management.
- Excellent computer and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy working in a true team environment
- Ability to travel as needed
