Job Summary

Responsible for the effective management of Inside Sales Territory Managers. The Inside Sales Manager is accountable for establishing and monitoring aggressive goals to promote premium and volume growth. The Inside Sales Manager will ensure team members successfully prospect leads, appoint new agencies, and manage relationships to increase quote and app counts and cross-sell additional products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct Inside Sales activities to include strategies, research, market analysis and planning.
  • Oversee department and team member performance.
  • Guide and manage Inside Sales team members inclusive of hiring, development, performance management and career path.
  • Foster an environment where employees are empowered, and their ideas and skillsets are taken into consideration when making decisions
  • Develop and leverage relationships with the other functional areas to support organization goals.
  • Ensure Inside Sales Team provides competitive intelligence to Sales and Product Team.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of agency regulations including, but not limited to, licensing requirements, agency appointment, and termination and licensing processes.
  • Ensure team provides regular and informed training to agents on updates, expansion of service, product line changes, etc.
  • Lead initiatives to improve team performance and engagement.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Risk Management and/or Insurance or business

related experience commensurate with a four-year college degree.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 years of general insurance background, marketing or sales related experience.
  • 7 years of servant leadership experience.
  • Property and Casualty license preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrative ease with both verbal and written formats.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple levels of activity without compromise to results.
  • Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Must possess analytical ability at a level to interact with associates, managers, agents and vendors.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and effectively work both independently and in a group.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred and ability to interact comfortably with individuals of all origins.
