What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Title Agent position at Assured Title Services?
We are looking for a full time, experienced, licensed Title Agent. This position is responsible for client retention, growth, renewal and maintenance of assigned clients. This candidate provides excellent customer service by interacting with clients and their designated contacts through client meetings, webinars, phone calls and email. The position manages pending transactions and client goals to provide support and make strategic recommendations for assigned clients. These efforts drive results that are measured by retention, growth through new sales and cross-selling objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Secure new business while maintaining and growing existing relationships.
- Attend after hours work functions to promote services and appreciation.
- Assist agents with preliminary HUDs, condo documents & miscellaneous requests.
- Oversee the processing pipeline and train and assist when needed.
- Review title commitment and support documents before signing commitment jackets.
- Oversee the closing pipeline and train as needed.
- Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, realtors, buyers and sellers for closings
- Review and prepare final settlement figures, including CD’s and/or HUD formats.
- Review and prepare final closing documents for signatures.
- Insure that all title clearance items have been satisfied.
- Acknowledge and post incoming wires.
- Deposit EM checks and maintain deposit books.
- Review recording documents before submission for final review and upload to Simplifile.
- Train and issue final disbursements at closing with checks and outgoing wires.
- Warehouse file for lender’s returned package.
- Audit of files before sending to corporate for final policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance and your physical presence at the work site.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a title/escrow agent
- Book of business from the local area
- Experience in generating new business and fostering relationships with existing clients and real estate agents
- High School Diploma required - College degree preferred
Certificates and Licenses:
- Title Agent license
- Valid driver's license
