Overview
The Vendor Payables Analyst, Corporate role is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the vendor payables process and maintaining the vendor master file. This role involves supporting the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor data, and assisting with the resolution of vendor-related issues. The position is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient vendor payment processes and maintaining the integrity of the vendor database.
What You'll Do
Vendor Invoice Processing:• Assist in processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the financial system.• Verify invoice details, including amounts, dates, and purchase orders, to ensure compliance with company policies.
Vendor Master File Maintenance:• Support the setup, maintenance, and updates of vendor master data, including vendor names, addresses, and payment information.• Ensure that vendor information is accurate, complete, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Vendor Communication:• Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries, data changes, and other requests.• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:• Accurately enter and update vendor information in the financial system.• Maintain organized records of vendor data, invoices, and related documentation.
Process Support:• Assist in implementing and following procedures related to vendor payables and master data management.• Support efforts to streamline and improve vendor payment processes.
Compliance and Accuracy:• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to vendor payments and master data maintenance.• Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness to prevent errors and discrepancies.

What You'll Need
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.• Entry level, experience in accounts payable or vendor management.
Competencies
• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and vendor management.• Proficiency in financial systems and software, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal team members.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
