Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced analysis involving all aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing the database and reports for a large project.
- This position requires strong SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures, along with extensive experience in integrating databases with Java applications.
- Devise approaches to solving complex problems, provide thought leadership, manage project scope, and provide ongoing updates on project status.
- Exhibit a high level of skill in data aggregation and analysis.
- This position works for section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System).
- Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases.
- This role works across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports, in the service of Texas’s 1200 school districts.

- 8 years of experience in designing, coding and supporting using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
