ASSYST is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst to join our clients dedicated team working on the CAPPS HCM upgrade project. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in PeopleSoft Payroll or Time & Labor, with preference for hands-on experience in Texas state agency environments or the CAPPS system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document complex system requirements and processes.
- Conduct review meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and clarify business needs.
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, and training materials.
- Perform hands-on testing to support multiple test cycles, ensuring system functionality and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with project stakeholders to deliver accurate and functional business solutions.
Required Experience:
- Implementation or upgrade experience with PeopleSoft HCM, specifically version 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Proficient in identifying and documenting requirements to create formal functional documentation.
- Skilled in conducting work sessions and delivering functional analysis presentations.
- Proven ability to perform end-to-end system integration and external interface testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
- Experience with SharePoint and Jira for task tracking and collaboration.
- Familiarity with working within the Scrum framework.
- Previous experience working with public sector organizations, including Federal, State, or Local Governments.
- Knowledge of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Texas state agency systems or CAPPS.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to PeopleSoft Payroll or Time & Labor.
