What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cloud Integration Developer (Azure/.NET) position at ASSYST, Inc.?
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Integration Developer with a strong background in Azure, .NET, mobile development, and enterprise systems integration. You will be responsible for migrating legacy ESB interfaces to Azure, maintaining a hybrid mobile application, and building secure, scalable cloud architectures using Azure services and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate on-premises ESB interfaces to Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Architect and implement scalable ESB solutions in Azure App Service Environment (ASE)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and ARM/Bicep templates
- Manage, update, and deploy a hybrid mobile application built with Angular, Ionic, and Cordova
- Create, document, and maintain RESTful Web APIs using .NET / .NET Core
- Ensure robust error handling and monitoring mechanisms across cloud interfaces
- Integrate with external platforms such as SharePoint APIs
- Support backend systems using SQL Server and Oracle
- Provide technical support during weekends on an as-needed basis
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to resolve issues and drive innovation
- Maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of hands-on experience with:
- .NET, .NET Core, Web API, Web Services
- Angular, Ionic, Cordova
- Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Synapse Analytics
- Python, Azure Storage, Key Vault
- Pentaho Kettle (ETL workflows)
- Azure DevOps, PowerShell, jQuery, Node.js
- ARM & Bicep templates
- Proficient in deploying mobile apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Expertise with SQL Server and Oracle backend systems
- Experience with SharePoint API integration
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Computer Science or related technical field
- Exposure to containerization, Kubernetes, or serverless architecture
- Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or other observability tools
