ABOUT THE POSITION
As part of the Procurement Team, this role will specifically support the Aftermarket Parts Sales Team and will be responsible for negotiating, quoting, and purchasing parts essential for asphalt and industrial heating equipment. The Parts Buyer will contribute to optimizing the supply chain, ensuring high-quality parts availability, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include providing customer service to internal customers and external vendors by placing purchase orders, maintaining past due reports, following up on orders to ensure materials are delivered on promised dates, receiving bids, and making purchases of commodities or goods where the financial impact or decision making is limited.
Key Deliverables :
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for aftermarket parts.
- Place orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels to forecast demand and minimize stockouts.
- Execute new item creation and conduct invoice reconciliation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Work closely with the Aftermarket Parts Sales Team to understand parts requirements and customer needs.
