Aster Assisted Living of Monroe is in search of a caring, compassionate, enthusiastic, and fun individual to join our Life Enrichment department.
Job Summary
The Life Enrichment Assistant plans and coordinates a wide range of recreational opportunities for socialization, across the religious and ethnic backgrounds of the residents that reside in the community.
Tasks
- Promotes, coordinates and assists with resident-centered activities.
- Escorts residents on field trips and to social events.
- Drives residents in a company-owned vehicle on community outings.
- Assists with the maintenance of event supplies and equipment.
- Maintains a flexible schedule in order to plan events during days, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and the capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities.
- Previous experience working with seniors is desired.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
