Job Description :
SCOPE : Responsible for all MBPCC activities occurring in the radiation oncology and medical oncology programs of the Baton Rouge General’s Hospital facility including personnel, budget, programs, and resources. Acts as a liaison between the physicians, clinical and administrative staff for both radiation and medical oncology. Responsible for staffing of the clinics, linear accelerator, CT scanner and administrative functions. Increases recognition of the MBPCC by liaising with Baton Rouge General’s Hospital leaders, physicians, healthcare professionals, and industry and managed care / insurance companies and providing information and programs that meet their needs. Strengthens and builds referral relationships with identified external customers through direct and indirect contact on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 5 years in radiation therapy or medical oncology with supervisory experience preferred. Experience in clinic administration preferred.
Graduate of AMA accredited program in radiation therapy technology program preferred. Masters degree preferred. Proficiency on all linear accelerators a plus.
CT Simulation experience a plus.
