Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounting Specialist to support our accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and general accounting duties.
- Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Communicate with vendors via phone to manage credit card reconciliations and follow up on late payments.
- Ensure that credit card and check balances are accurate.
- Perform basic Excel tasks and manage data entry of invoices.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Yardi, or Timberline.
- Assist with payroll, billing, or job costing as needed.
Requirements:
- ~5-10 years of experience in AP/accounting.
- Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry or a related services industry.
- Strong accounts payable (AP) experience, including processing invoices and vendor communication.
- Proficiency in basic Excel skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Schedule:
Onsite: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible hours available)
