Job Title: Buyer
About the role: As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and supplies while negotiating contracts under optimal terms aligned with our company policy. You will thoroughly evaluate and analyze purchase requisitions, identify potential suppliers, issue bid requests, and carefully review quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company policy
- Analyze purchase requisitions and develop sources of supplies
- Issue bid requests and review quotations
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (APP) certification is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, is a plus
