Job Description
Candidates will be working as a credit analyst in a $2bn manufacturing company. They will assist other collectors with their portfolios and handling accounts that are severely past due (>
180 days). Candidates will need to read through contracts to understand billing and collections for each customer, reach out for payment, update invoice status, update credit status / limits, and update account status in Cforia (their AR system). Additionally, they will handle vague invoices, determine the appropriate business unit, and ensure proper payment acceptance. Interaction with the AR and sales teams will be necessary at times. Reconciliation of accounts will be required when there are partial payments, double payments, or instances where clients took credit more than once.
Responsibilities
- Assist other collectors with their portfolios and severely past-due accounts.
- Read and understand billing and collections contracts for each customer.
- Reach out to customers for payment and update invoice, credit, and account status in Cforia.
- Identify the appropriate business unit for vague invoices and accept payments properly.
- Interface with the AR and sales teams as needed.
- Reconcile accounts with partial payments, double payments, and multiple credit instances.

Work Environment
Candidates will train in the office for approximately 2 months, depending on the candidate. Once confident in their ability to work independently, the position will be fully remote. Occasional office visits may be required but not on a regular basis. Upward mobility is available for those committed to the organization, with previous contractors now serving as supervisors and hiring new contractors.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
