Job Title : Entry-Level Pricing Analyst
One of our successful distribution clients is looking for an Entry-Level Pricing Analyst! Recent graduates are welcome to apply!
You will be training on all of our client's procedures and processes upon starting in the role. The only prerequisite for this position is an understanding of pricing, P&L, gross profits, and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
Assist with and implement daily pricing requests.
Work with manufacturers regarding competitive pricing situations.
Collaborate with HVAC Line of Business Leaders to develop market strategies.
Advise the sales team in accordance with established pricing policies and strategies.
Recommend pricing to capture and grow business with new and existing customers.
Execute data analysis using Excel and other database tools.
Drive incremental profit through product, customer, or regional pricing actions.
Perform detailed competitive analysis.
Track and measure category performance (sales, margin, etc.).
Evaluate exception pricing requests to assess profitability.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
General understanding of pricing, P&L, and gross profits.
Degree can replace experience!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
