Job Title : Toolroom / Inventory AttendantJob Description
Our client is searching for a Toolroom Attendant for their Ashland City, TN location. In this role, you will maintain, restock, and monitor the toolroom inventory.
Responsibilities
Taking stock inventory of tool distribution.
Checking for wear or defects in returned tools.
Recording and storing tools for later use.
Issuing tools and other equipment to workers.
Maintaining records of issued tools.
Monitoring tool crib inventory.
Receiving new tools and scheduling preventative maintenance.
Managing tool inventory and transactions.
Ensuring a safe work area.
Essential Skills
Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) is strongly preferred.
Toolroom or parts room experience is a plus.
General knowledge of tools and their intended use.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team.
Great attention to detail.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Inventory experience or related / transferrable experience.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Environment
Toolroom environment. Schedule : 1st shift, Monday through Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
