Aston Carter is seeking a highly skilled Order Entry Lead to drive our order entry operations forward. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team, leveraging your expertise in order management, software proficiency, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mastery of product knowledge and efficient utilization of software tools (Just Foods, Batch Metrics, P21, Bar Tender, Excel, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of the order process and identification of areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with major contacts across departments to facilitate issue resolution and optimize processes.
- Effective handling of minor issues and customer concerns, including directing incoming customer service-related calls and questions.
- Notification of the Director of Supply Chain for major issues and areas of concern.
- Reporting of crises to the Supply Chain Manager during operating hours, adhering to designated procedures to protect customer relationships and company interests.
- Coaching and mentoring of Customer Service Team members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Collaboration and communication with supervisors and managers across various locations.
- Identification of learning opportunities to improve the overall functionality and knowledge of the customer service team.
- Serving as a mentor and advocate for direct reports' growth and opportunities.
- Processing of Customer Care Team PTO requests and scheduling.
- Delegation of Customer Service Team workload and customer assignments under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support for sales of products from both companies as dictated by customer-specific product mix.
- Adherence to daily functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.
- Support and promotion of the reporting of health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident, or injury incidents.
