Position Summary:
As the Regional Vice President of Business Development, you will lead strategic initiatives to expand referral networks, increase census, and enhance partnerships within the SNF/LTC market. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive census growth, maximize revenue, and achieve regional objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, referral opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the SNF/LTC industry in the West Palm Beach and Vero Beach regions.
- Referral Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and community partners to establish a strong referral network.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with facility administrators, clinical teams, and marketing staff to align business development efforts with operational and clinical goals.
- Performance Metrics: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to census growth, referral sources, and revenue generation.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings to enhance brand awareness and foster partnerships.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide facility-based marketing and admissions teams to enhance their skills and effectiveness in driving admissions growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the SNF/LTC industry.
- Proven track record of driving census growth and revenue in a multi-site healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and other payer systems relevant to the SNF/LTC sector.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the West Palm Beach and Vero Beach regions.
