Where you will work : This position will be based out of Astound's Dallas, TX office.
A Day in the Life of the Supervisor, Construction :
- Works with the Operations Manager to facilitate build plan objectives and manage expectations. Assigns and sets weekly targets for and monitors the construction activities of the Construction Coordinators, Broadband Network Fiber Technicians, Utility & Permit Coordinator, and Contractors.
- Reviews and approves all JCE's and invoices. Reviews and checks all prints, BOM's, permits, QC sheets, and forwards all JCE's to Corporate for final processing approval.
- Verifies OSP facilities through regular field inspections of work, ensuring job folders are current, processing of damage claims, and feedback from Ops.
- Ensures invoices, material usage, As-Built maps and job closings are correct and processed on time. Monitors OMNIA walkouts and Cronus orders.
- Ensures Construction Coordinators, Broadband Network Fiber Technicians and contractors, follow safe and approved standards of work practices and have necessary craft, skills, and tools.
- Maintains strong relations with Retail, Enterprise & Wholesale Departments, to ensure mutual cooperation through the project management cycle of all works in progress from beginning to completion.
- Drives a company vehicle in the course and scope of performing duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
