Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Supervisor to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, ability to read blueprints, dirt work & civil work knowledge, concrete pour knowledge, rough plumbing knowledge, framing knowledge, rough electrical knowledge, hvac knowledge, drywall knowldge, paint knowledge, trim carpentry knowledge, flooring knowledge, tiling knowledge, cabinetry millwork knowledge, countertop knowledge, custom carpentry knowledge, appliance installation knowledge, finishbout knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards by leading subs on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as and ProCore.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Utilize construction management software for tracking project milestones and documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Skills
- Proficient in construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques, particularly with programs such as Procore, Job Tread, etc. Can use a laptop and technology.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with pipeline construction is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Self motivated and takes the lead vs being told what to do.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
