X-Ray Technologist (+CT Highly Preferred)

Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated X-Ray and/or CT Technologist. This role will report to the Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do

• Review referring physician orders to determine specific body parts for imaging.


• Confirm procedures with patients, ensuring alignment with orders and medical history.


• Clearly explain imaging tests to patients, addressing questions and ensuring proper positioning.


• Set up and operate CT/X-ray equipment, adjusting controls for optimal imaging.


• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures that meet certification standards.


• Verify image clarity and adequacy before patients leave, minimizing retakes and radiation exposure.


• Use radiation protection measures, such as lead aprons, to safeguard patients.


• Accurately update patient records with clinical information in radiology systems.


• Obtain patient consent before any physical contact and adhere to harassment prevention protocols.


• Expedite STAT imaging and create image CDs when necessary.


• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks.


• Handle and protect patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Previous X-ray imaging experience


• ARRT certificate and licensed

Additional qualifications for CT Techs:

• At least 12 months previous CT imaging experience


• BLS certification


• Venipuncture certificate


• IV credentialed

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

• This position follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite at the facility on a consistent basis.

• The work hours are Monday - Friday during standard business operating hours. As the clinic expands, your schedule may be adjusted to a half day Saturday and a half day on Wednesday or Thursday.


• The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $35.00-45.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
