Job Title: Operations IT Associate Business Analyst

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that combines business analysis and design? As an Operations IT Associate Business Analyst, you will contribute to both small-scale business changes and larger, global initiatives. You will work closely with Sr. Business Partners and Business Analyst colleagues to develop business cases, assist in process design, and ensure solutions meet AstraZeneca's high standards of quality and compliance. This role operates with interactive communication, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity.

Accountabilities:

• Understand and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and proposing potential solutions through research.
• Interpret business requirements for easy analysis, solution design, and decision making, effectively communicating the impact, cost, and benefits of new and changed demands.
• Provide insight and innovation within your specialist area, aligning with AZ IT strategy and collaborating with AZ IT partners.
• Work with Site Extended Leadership Teams and other regional/site partners to propose and deliver solutions that meet future strategic needs and challenges.
• Contribute to business cases, producing detailed justifications for investment including ROI and benefits realization.
• Collaborate with colleagues across BTG and C4Es to identify required capabilities and ensure outcomes/requirements are clearly understood and deliverable.
• Facilitate design sessions to identify functional and technical requirements.
• Define project scope and goals for small projects, setting budgets and schedules, and leading key project aspects including meetings, tracking, reporting, and communication.
• Assign work and ensure tasks are completed as scheduled.
• Collate information for analysis and reporting relevant data trends for informed decision making on small projects.
• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, crafting a communication/engagement plan.
• Support business for service tracking/issues/problems/incidents, collecting delivery feedback from customers.
  
  
  

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 3 years of experience in an operations/IT environment or Master’s Degree in a technical fied with 1 years of experience in an operations/IT environment
• Experience of using business analysis tools/techniques to design and deliver business change
• Strong engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
• Experience of working in a regulated environment
• Experience of working with third party suppliers/vendors
• Strong business acumen with the ability to challenge, negotiate, and influence
• Business process management
• Experience managing internal business partner relationships
