ASTRION has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager in support of the ARMY Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: WSMR, NM (On-site)
JOB STATUS: Full Time
TRAVEL: Estimated Up to 20%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret
- EDUCATION: B.S. in STEM or Engineering from an accredited college/university
- EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts OR projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope
- Work experience AND demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least two large projects or programs utilizing civil, mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering discipline
- Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel
- One (1) year of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD contracting process
- One (1) years of experience demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process. specifically related to the test career field.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with documented supervisory experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Master's degree in a STEM or Engineering field from an accredited college/university.
- Well-organized, results-oriented, energetic, team player with proven decision-making ability Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to prepare documents, financial reports, and communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the organization, planning, scheduling, and controlling of all support and engineering work.
- Obligates the company regarding contractual and financial matters when the Senior Program Manager is not available.
- Serves as the primary liaison with the Government when the Senior Program Manager is not available; must have a technical and administrative grasp of all contractual requirements.
- Supports the supervision of all Contractor personnel engaged on this contract.
- Supports the execution of day-to-day operations including cost control, planning, reporting and project schedules.
- Supports management all resources to implement work requirements to their timely and successful completion.
