Come join our team in Houston, TX- seeking laboratory logistics assistant to support team members on a contract to hire basis!
This position supports research trial activity for specimen collection on a global scale including assembling kits, distributing kits worldwide, tracking kits, and receiving and logging in patient specimens and general supplies, and may also be responsible for some simple tasks in laboratory.
Pay : $19-$20 / hr DOE
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location : Houston, TX
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Receiving, inspecting, and logging in patient specimens
Tracking kits for expiration, delivery status, etc.
Contributing to portions of the laboratory project work scopes as needed
Coordinating sample shipment / receipt with clinical sites and package carriers
Input kit and sample inventories in database
Communicating with package couriers and customers
Receiving laboratory supplies
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelors Degree preferred; High school diploma required.
Previous Inventory experience with hazardous materials or specimens
Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects
