Work location : Fairfield County, CT
Duties :
Perform regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify faults and potential problems.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, determining the best solutions for repairs.
Replace or repair defective electronic components, including sensors, switches, circuit boards, and wiring, using hand tools, soldering tools, and diagnostic software.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to establish and implement maintenance procedures and standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working with electronic equipment and machinery.
Qualifications :
Strong understanding of electronics principles, including circuitry, digital and analog systems, and troubleshooting techniques
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the use of basic hand tools
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets
Minimum of three years of machine / electronics maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
