Title : Lab Sample Coordinator
Location : Lansdale , PA
Pay : $25-27 / hour
CONTRACT- HYBRID SCHEDULE
Education :
Associates or Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences or related field.
Requirements :
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, or other spreadsheet tools.
Basic knowledge of lab techniques and cell culture.
Ability to work independently, with flexibility to collaborate in a small team when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in data entry, sample management, or using sample inventory software like Benchling.
Previous work with biological samples, particularly in an industry setting.
Familiarity with biosafety (BSL2 or BSL3) or infectious disease classification.
Responsibilities :
Sample Management
Register and catalog research samples with staff scientists, managing inventory in a database for samples stored in -70C freezers.
Lab Management
Handle tasks like generating work orders, scheduling equipment maintenance, and performing lab safety checks.
