Our client is a Biopharmaceutical CDMO that specializes in therapeutic proteins and antibodies. With over 20 years of scientific experience and a solutions-oriented approach, our client will offer you ingenuity from start to finish. Looking to hire a Quality Control Analytical Scientist on a contract basis!
Pay: $37 - $49/hr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Terms: 6-month assignment (possibility of extension/conversion)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute method validation/qualification protocols per ICH guidelines for biopharmaceutical products.
- Lead method validations, qualifications, and transfers for protein analysis using HPLC/UPLC.
- Lead troubleshooting and implementation of test methods in the QC labs.
- Support laboratory analysts during method validation, qualification, and transfer.
- Manage the selection and procurement of analytical equipment for the QC lab.
- Analyze data and apply statistical methods as needed.
- Draft and review documentation, including protocols, SOPs, and reports.
- Train new and existing lab staff on analytical methods.
- Oversee analytical technology transfers for new products/processes.
- Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results and analyze lab data trends.
- Participate in audits and client discussions on analytical methods.
Requirements
- PhD is preferred, M.S. in Life Sciences or Chemistry.
- 6 years of academic/industry experience in method development, validations, and transfers.
- Experience with Analytical techniques like HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE Western blots, IEF, and CE.
- Knowledge of lab equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Understanding of ICH, ISO, and GMP compliance is a plus!
