Pay Range: $42.00 - $47.42/hr
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Our client is a global pharmaceutical leader, recognized for their innovation in developing and manufacturing world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and groundbreaking animal-health products. We are seeking an Infectious Disease Scientist to join their dynamic team in advancing their viral vaccine programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virological assay support, including running ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, and serum neutralization assays.
- Generate viral stocks and manage the internal and external shipments of samples.
- Maintain accurate sample inventory and ensure proper lab management.
- Provide laboratory support and ensure efficient and accurate execution of experiments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to ongoing vaccine development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree: BS/BA with 6 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in a biological science-related field.
- Maximum Degree: PhD with at least 1 year of hands-on expertise in the required skill set.
Required Skills:
- Experience with virological assay support, including ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, and serum neutralization assays.
- Expertise in tissue and cell culture techniques.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GraphPad Prism.
- Experience using Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
