Textile R&D Chemist

About the Role
Our client is a global chemicals and textile company with over a century of proven service. This role involves conducting lab work, analyzing test results, and supporting research, quality, and customer service efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lab testing, apply standard test methods, and analyze results.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
- Qualify raw materials and assist in research projects.
- Maintain accurate lab documentation in notebooks and SAP.
- Train new employees and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Operate lab instruments, including Karl Fischer, HPLC, FTIR, TGA, DSC, AA, and pH meters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Textile Chemistry with 5 years of experience.
- Experience in textile dyeing, finishing applications, and testing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and lab techniques.
