Our client, a Biopharmaceutical CDMO that specializes in therapeutic proteins and antibodies is hiring for a Cell Line Development Scientist. With over 20 years of scientific experience and a solutions-oriented approach, our client will offer you ingenuity from start to finish!
Pay: $37 - $53/hr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple client projects in Cell Line Development (CLD) simultaneously.
- Develop stable CHO/HEK293 cell lines for therapeutic proteins and support process scale-up in bioreactors.
- Collaborate with Upstream Process Development (USP) and R&D teams to develop cell culture processes.
- Conduct research on cell culture-derived biopharmaceuticals (mAbs, fusion proteins, cytokines, bispecifics).
- Serve as the subject matter expert for CLD programs and troubleshoot any related issues.
- Draft, review, and maintain SOPs, protocols, and reports related to CLD.
- Provide technical support and training on CLD techniques to internal teams.
- Stay updated on new technologies and ensure proper equipment maintenance and qualification.
- Collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing groups to ensure successful process development and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, with 1 year of CLD experience OR M.S. with 3 years of related experience.
- Expertise in analytical techniques (ELISA, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western blots, etc.) and high-throughput cell culture tools.
- Experience in bioreactor cell culture is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (ICH, FDA, EMA).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
