Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join collaborative Quality Team in Kirkland, WA .
This is a hybrid / on-site position that offers flexibility to work from home part-time dependent on project needs.
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Analyst supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes, standards, and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting internal audits, maintaining and managing the Company’s FAA PMA and STC processes, analyzing and reporting on customer quality trends, managing employee certification and record databases, and reviewing contracts for Quality and Environmental requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, perform, and report internal audits.
Manage day to day PMA and STC process with the FAA.
Prepare for and support 3rd party quality system audits.
Provide data analysis of QA metrics identifying trends for further investigation or corrective action.
Prepare presentations for quality including trending and tracking for management reports.
Respond, research and prepare customer quality systems surveys.
Perform contract reviews to identify areas that require evaluation by the QA management team.
Manage internal quality systems such as the certification database, records database, and stamp system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, STEM, Economics or Business, preferred. Will consider equivalent in other education and experience.
Demonstrates familiarity in the duties and responsibilities of the position, typically obtained with 2 years of direct experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in all MS Office products (Visio, PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook). Advanced use of Excel features is highly desired.
Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and Intranet (i.e., Omnify, Intuitive, SharePoint)
Knowledge of process auditing
Basic data analysis skills
EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible .
An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis .
Base salary range is $61,229 - $91,843 per year. Mid-point for the range is $76,536.
At Astronics AES, it is more typical for an individual to be hired closer to the mid-point than near the top of the range.
