Job Overview
Astyracorp is seeking an experienced Clinical Assessment Specialist to conduct face-to-face assessments of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As an independent contractor, you will work in a flexible schedule that can be tailored to your availability. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel throughout Lycoming/Clinton Co. area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments on individuals with IDD and/or Autism as assigned.
- Schedule, administer and submit assessments within identified performance standards.
- Use independent judgment, clinical knowledge/competence, communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution to ensure optimal interviews.
- Manage schedule and availability calendar, ensuring assessments are completed in accordance with contract guidelines.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Participate in regular quality calls, attend training and scheduled meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Service Field.
- Minimum two years of direct experience working with adults with IDD required.
- Basic computer/technology skills and MS Office proficiency required.
