Staff Accountant II - CSC

The Staff Accountant II will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection and reporting of Customer Service Center (hereinafter, “CSC”) related financial information and associated analysis including profit and loss as well as inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, analysis, account reconciliations, and assist with monthly closing processes.
• Prepare CSC-related reports for management purposes.
• Collaborate with the CSC team to gain comprehensive insight into its operations.
• Analyze CSC operations, including inventory and expense analysis, to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve accuracy and efficiency of bookkeeping for CSC operations.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis and explanations for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and provide recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Fulfill requests for external quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in 10-key typing.
• Proficient in Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Ability to set tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

•  Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Accounting or a related field.

Work Experience

•   2 years of working experience, preferably in a CSC or similar environment.

Working Conditions:

• Typically works in an office environment.
• Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.

 $75,000-$95,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
