Job Description Overview:
ASUS is searching for an experienced and dynamic Talent Specialist to join our HR team. The Talent Specialist This role is crucial in driving our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we hire the best candidates, while supporting other HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruitment and possess the ability to manage multiple HR functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently oversee the entire recruitment process, from the creation of job descriptions in partnership of hiring managers, posting on job boards, application review/candidate sourcing, conducting phone screenings, coordinating interview schedules, extending job offers, and managing background checks
- Oversee pre-employment and onboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations, processing paperwork through ADP (including E-Verify/I-9), performing new hire check-ins, initiating new hire training sessions, and tracking tasks assigned to hiring managers.
- Develop talent solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action
- Coordinate with immigration lawyer on L1, H1B, TN, and PERM processing
- Respond to inquiries relating to online & on-site training, performance reviews, referral and recognition program
- Perform administrative duties of filing, record keeping, creating reports in ADP
- Partner with recruitment agencies for temp positions and temp to hire positions
- Update and enhance job knowledge by proactively learning from various sources and participating in training opportunities
- Participate in planning company events with the events committee.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have a strong corporate recruiting background with mid-size company/start up environment preferred
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and Federal and CA labor legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Capable of performing data analysis and drawing logical conclusions.
- Resourceful in finding solutions using available tools and information.
- Proactive approach with consistent follow-through.
- Adaptable and confident in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented corporate environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree plus minimum 3 years talent acquisition in house/corporate environment
- Experience tracking/creating recruiting analytics and reporting
- PHR certification preferred, but not required
Working Conditions:
- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
$68,700 - $90,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
