Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years.
We are looking for an Immigration Specialist to support our client's HR Compliance and Immigration Team . In this role you will support both U.S. and International immigration. You should have an understanding of current immigration requirements and remain abreast on new developments. You will serve as the main point of contact for managers, new hires, existing employees, and the HR team on all immigration matters.
This is a W-2 full-time contract based in Santa Clara, CA - Hybrid / remote work option . We offer competitive pay $55 / hr - $60 / hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
What you'll be doing :
- Maintaining and enhancing partnership with global vendors.
- Guiding employees and managers on immigration policies and requirements.
- Acting as a liaison between candidates and outside counsel and provide continuous support and coordination to keep the immigration process moving.
- Facilitating assessment of new candidates as presented for eligibility for sponsorship.
- Analyzing complex immigration matters and effectively communicate solutions to internal clients in collaboration with outside immigration counsel.
- Actively identify process improvements focusing on employee experience.
- Assist with invoice processing / tracking of payment status.
- What we need to see :
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate business immigration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask using analytical skills within a rapidly changing environment with ever-changing demands.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Maintains a proven sense of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to tackle problems under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress / status / issues to supervisor.
