Job Description Overview:
The Product Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and activities directly related to management and maintenance of product life cycle. The Product Manager will also help with developing and maintaining business relationships along with the sales and marketing team. This position requires interaction with Marketing, R&D, Sales, External Partners, and HQ. To be successful in this role you are self-motivated, energetic, organized, detail oriented and have passion for computers and technology. The product coverage primarily focuses on Cloud, HPC, Storage, and General-Purpose Server segments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Server product line, aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Product Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels. Ensure production schedules are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities and constraints. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, and production issues. Communicate production plans and schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the PC industry.
- Roadmap Planning: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Launch and Positioning: Drive successful product launches, developing compelling positioning and messaging to maximize market impact.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training programs. Conduct cost analysis, pricing strategy, and ROI assessments to maximize profitability.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product features, functionality, and user experience.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate product performance against these metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Computer
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Server platforms with proven track record of product management on top Service Providers, Enterprise customers and System Integrators
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding for servers, storage, enterprise applications and commercial related server industry

- Effective communicator for pre-sales engineering discussions and presentations
- Experienced in completing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Working Conditions
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
- Up to 30% domestic travel
$100,000 - $165,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k). The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
