What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineering Technician position at AT3 Staffing?
What You Will Do:
As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will support the Operations team by troubleshooting and/or reworking electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components for use in the aerospace industry. This position will have direct contact with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, Calibration, Operations and Supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Repair Circuit Card Assemblies that fail functional testing, and repair as necessary
· Assist Operations with troubleshooting, testing, rework, and assembly
· Use engineering drawings, specifications, and quality assurance standards to assemble components and cockpit panels,
· Assist Manufacturing Engineering with updating routings and work instructions,
and standardizing circuit card rework process
· May perform visual, dimensional, electrical, functional, and optical inspections per specified documentation,
· Analyze data related to product quality issues to improve future first pass yield
and supplier quality communication
· Play an important role of the MRB team to quickly disposition discrepancies
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in electronics from a 2-year college to technical school, equivalent military electronics school and two years related experience
Specialized Skills and Abilities
· The skill to troubleshoot PCB’s to component level using various test equipment
· Use of power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMM’s, etc
· The ability to read electronic schematics
· Soldering skills equivalent to IPC 610 and JSTD
· Understand principles of ESD and MSD’s
· Must have a keen attention to detail
· Willing to work extra hours, and potentially weekends
· Strong communication skills
· You must be a US Person

Pay: $46.00 - $52.00 per hour
