REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The IT Director is responsible for overseeing an organization's entire information technology infrastructure, including systems, networks, software, and staff, ensuring technology aligns business goals by developing and implementing IT strategies, managing budgets, and leading teams to maintain operational efficiency and security.
CORE REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Developing and executing comprehensive IT strategies to support business growth objectives, including technology roadmaps and future infrastructure needs.
· Designing, selecting, and implementing new Saas-Based IT systems and software applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, Financial Systems, etc.), ensuring smooth integration with existing hybrid-infrastructure.
· Managing and supervising IT staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and assigning projects.
· Overseeing the IT budget, including cost analysis, vendor negotiations/management, resource allocation, and ensuring quality service delivery.
· Maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure, including cloud-based servers (e.g. Azure/AWS), on-prem firewalls and routers, and data security measures.
· Implementing robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data from breaches, including access controls, incident response plans, and regular security assessments.
· Providing technical support to users across the organization, managing help desk operations.
· Close contact must be maintained with department representatives to understand enhancement requirements for various systems.
· Ability to drive transformation across teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Experience with the selection of ERP software (e.g. CRM, Financial Systems, etc.) and reporting platforms for the streamlining and automation of operational practices.
· Excellent process and best practice acumen, vendor management, delivering increased availability and service for customers.
· Hands-on experience IT infrastructure, network technologies, cybersecurity practices, and cloud computing.
· Excellent communication and people skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
· Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address technical challenges.
· Project management skills to oversee complex IT projects from planning to implementation.
· Knowledge of relevant IT industry trends and emerging technologies
· Extensive knowledge of website management and development.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems (Master’s Degree preferred).
· 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in Information Technology.
· Hands-on work experience and knowledge of computerized systems and their management, including Saa- Based ERP Software, PCs, LANs, WANs, cloud servers, and telecommunications.

· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
